FIXING UP THE DIVORCE IN CONNECTICUT WEBSITE!

YES I KNOW I'VE BEEN PRETTY QUIET RECENTLY!

I know some of you folks may be disappointed that I have not written any significant blogs recently.  To be honest, I am rather subject to the vaguaries of my muse.  If the inspiration doesn't hit me, then nothing gets written.

I am also finding that I have so much to do right now, I rarely have the time or opportunity to sit down and speak my mind.  I find this is particularly true in the summer when the kids are at home and look at me for entertainment!

THE DIC BLOG IS NOW A VERBAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE FREE AND BIGOTRY FREE BLOG!

Still, I have not been entirely idle as you can see if you take a look at the home page for my blog.  After reading a few racist comments which had been posted on the blog and which I was forced to delete, I decided that I needed an equal opportunity/acceptance statement on the home page.  If you take a look, you can see that it is posted right on the top of the page.  I am the first person to be tolerant of a broad range of perspectives and ideas on this blog, but I just cannot abide verbal or emotional abuse of readers based upon who they are.  That's just not right.

YES, I'LL ADMIT IT...I NEED FINANCIAL HELP!

Another feature I have added to the DIC blog is a donate feature on the upper left hand side of the home page.  It works, believe me, because I tried it out once I posted it.  Essentially, I write this blog during my free time outside of work hours.  It's a work of love.

In the course of my work, I often end up spending considerable sums of money paying for copies of research articles and state government documents.  I also use up a whole lot of paper printing out information that I need as the basis for some of my articles.

Plus, I pay to get access to important data bases.  All of this costs a good deal of money which, up to this point, has come out of my pocket.  But if anyone feels inspired to use this donate button to help me defray these expenses, I would certainly appreciate it.

I AM WORKING ON MAKING THE DIC WEBSITE MORE ACCESSIBLE!

Meanwhile, I have begun the process of standardizing all the blog postings on the DIC website.  When I first began blogging, I was simply posting in a fairly random manner.  At this point, the website has developed a certain style, so I am returning to my older posts and fixing them up so their style is consistent with my later work.

I am also working on making sure the labels that I have used for my blogs reflects the contents of the blogs, so that readers who are looking for specific information can find it more readily.

Along with that, I have added a search feature to the website on the upper right hand side, which should make it easier to locate information on the website.

DIC IS YOUR HOME AND I WELCOME YOUR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS!

I continue to have ongoing ideas for this blog and I am always trying to find ways to improve it.  If you guys have any thoughts or if there is a particular topic you'd like me to cover, please let me know.

As always, your comments and feedback are really helpful.  This blog is intended to be a home for victims of family court abuse, so don't hesitate to take ownership of this blog and help me make changes for the better by contributing your ideas.
