EYEWITNESS NEWS WFSB CHANNEL 3 REPORTS ARIEL REVELLO 7 YEAR OLD BOY ABDUCTED BY FATHER! AMBER ALERT ISSUED!

TRUMBULL, CT (WFSB)-Trumbull police are asking for the public's help with an Amber Alert issued for a 7-year-old who is reported to have been abducted this morning.

Police said 7-year-old Ariel Revello was taken from his Unity Road home around 4:30 a.m. when his father, Rodolfo Revello forced his way into the home.

Rodolfo enter the home and assaulted the victim, who is his estranged wife in the bedroom.  Police said he then went to the kitchen to retrieve a knife, however, his 17-year-old stepson was able to disarm him at which time the victim jumped out a window to escape.

Police said Rodolfo then fled the home with his son, Ariel, along with several thousands of dollars worth of cash and jewelry.

Ariel Revello is described as 4'8" tall, about 75 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing gray and blue pj's, grey sweatshirt, olive green puffy jacket and blue Croc shoes.

Police believe he was taken in a white 2015 Ford Transit model van with CT combination plate C040379.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment on non-life threatening injuries.
