CASSANDRA C.'S HOMECOMING REPORTED BY HARTFORD COURANT LAST APRIL! SORRY I MISSED THAT!

On April 27, 2015, Josh Kovner of "The Hartford Courant" reported as follows:

"WINDSOR LOCKS — She went into the hospital five months ago identified in court papers as Cassandra C., the Windsor Locks teenager taken into state custody and forced by court order to receive chemotherapy for her Hodgkin's lymphoma after rejecting the treatment and running away.

She came out of the hospital Monday afternoon as Cassandra Callender, 17, cancer free, with a glowing smile, her face flushed by the first gulps of outdoor air since December, her brown her growing back in over dark eyes.

She was ready to hug her cat, wolf down her mom Jackie Fortin's shepherd's pie and mac and cheese, sleep in her own bed, and see where she stands at Windsor Locks High School, where she would have walked with her graduating class in June had she not become an international news story and a poster girl for those who advocate alternatives to chemotherapy..."

TY BOLLINGER INTERVIEW WITH CASSANDRA C.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CASSANDRA C. FINALLY REVEALED!

Ty Bollinger of "The Truth About Cancer" reports as follows:
"Imagine your 17 year old daughter gets the diagnosis of cancer. You both do research on treatment options and see that chemotherapy is toxic with potentially long standing, irreversible consequences: damage to the reproductive organs, bladder, heart,  lungs, nervous system, kidneys, and more. You and your daughter decide not to do it and choose to take a different route; one that is safer and is non-toxic.
Much to your shock, while you are out shopping, your daughter is home and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) shows up at your door (with 12 police cars no less, to kidnap your daughter and force her to do chemotherapy against her will and your wishes.)
What would you do?
Finally, revealed in The Truth About Cancer’s exclusive interview is the true story about Cassandra Callender (aka “Cassandra C.”) and her real life medical kidnapping and how she was forced to do chemotherapy against her will.
This is the first video interview that Cassandra has given, and The Truth About Cancer is honored to be able to share this exclusive interview with you."

CORRUPTCT ASKS WHETHER DCF HAS BEEN BULLYING PARENTS INTO SILENCE!

Corruptct issues commentary regarding DCF as follows:

"Connecticut DCF has been strong arming parent’s to silence regarding their cases. Connecticut DCF has been an area of interest for courruptct for a long time, due to their heavy handed ways. Parent’s who have had their children removed  by Ct DCF have concerns as well, as children are being taken from loving homes, legally kidnapping them. As parent’s speak out, as they have the right to do so under the first amendment, these parent’s are being threatened, their families threatened. Parent’s have the right to speak out about the injustice being done to their family, they are going to continue to speak out..."

DCF MEDICALLY KIDNAPS 3 YEAR OLD CONNECTICUT CHILD WITH CANCER! NO CHARGES FILED AGAINST MOTHER!

According to Terri LaPoint of Health Impact News,

"A little boy recovering from a brain tumor has been has been taken from his mother, in what some are calling a medical kidnapping in Connecticut. After surviving a year of intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments, 3 year old Weston Lamarre was declared to be in remission and cancer-free. But just two months later Child Protective Services stepped in and took him away from the mother who has stayed by his side every step of the way of their heartrending journey.

Now Wendy Lamarre is fighting to get her son back, after an unexplained bruise discovered at daycare resulted in Connecticut’s DCF being called in and Weston being taken from her. Even though the investigation allegedly concluded that she did nothing wrong, she still does not have him back. This child trying to heal from cancer reportedly only gets to see his mommy for two hours a week."

ATTORNEY NORM PATTIS SPEAKS OUT IN THE NEW HAVEN REGISTER ON BEHALF OF CASSANDRA C. AND HER MOM!

Attorney Norm Pattis shares his views on Cassandra C. as follows:

"Dying scares me less than suffering. Perhaps that’s because I’ve reached an age at which I attend more funerals than weddings. But I can imagine nothing more terrifying than to be forced to suffer. So my heart goes out to Cassandra C., the young 17-year-old kidnapped by the state and forced, against her will, to undergo chemotherapy.

Yes, I said kidnapped.

The word was chosen with care, and is calculated to rankle Joette Katz and her colleagues at the Department of Children and Families. The law may be on the department’s side as to Cassandra, but so much the worse for the law. Parents statewide can’t help but shudder over the notion that when if comes to child rearing, Big Sister knows best..."

CORRUPTCT ANNOUNCES RALLY FOR CASSANDRA C THIS SATURDAY 1/24!

A Rally to raise awareness of what has happened to Cassandra C. Stop the injustice. Join together and make a difference. Every person counts.

Silence has allowed DCF to take over our children, to take over our medical decision making for OUR children. Connecticut DCF, CPS/DCYF/DCFS, are kidnapping our children, children that are in loving homes.

If we remain silent, then this problem will only continue to get worse. We need to unite as parents, as a community, as caring citizens. We must end the silence by gathering together peacefully, as one.

Far too many children are being taken. Be a part of the problem or part of the solution. Be there to support Cassandra C and her mother, together we can raise the much needed awareness.

DCF TAKES CONNECTICUT TEEN INTO CUSTODY BECAUSE SHE REQUESTED A SECOND OPINION REGARDING HER MEDICAL CARE!

In Cassandra's own words, from her "Hartford Courant" Op-Ed,

"Over the past 17 years, I have lived a good life. It has always just been me and my mom and all of our pets. My mom raised me well, to be a strong, competent and independent woman. She taught me right from wrong and always led me in the right direction, standing by my side through every decision I made. I wouldn't have my strength, determination and motivation if it weren't for my mom. She played the role of a mom and a dad, and she did a damn good job!

Words cannot describe what my life has become over the last few months. "Horrifying" seems like an understatement. What I have been going through is traumatizing. Never did it cross my mind that one day I would be diagnosed with cancer. In September, after a stressful summer of blood work, examinations and biopsies, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

My mom and I wanted to make sure my diagnosis was correct, so we agreed to seek a second opinion. We wanted to be 100 percent sure I had cancer. Apparently, going for the second opinion and questioning doctors was considered "wasting time" and "not necessary." My mom was reported to the Department of Children and Families for medical neglect because we weren't meeting the doctors' time standard."

The girl, identified only as “Cassandra C." in court documents, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in September. At the time, doctors at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) recommended she receive chemotherapy.
