PLEASE HELP! SIGN THE PETITION: STOP AMERICAN FAMILY COURT BIAS AGAINST IRISH IMMIGRANT MOTHER!

Roisin Cassidy is a protective mother from San Mateo, CA who needs your help.  See the story below:

"My name is Roisin Cassidy. I was a custodial mother of my two children for 15 years, currently aged 15 and 11. I've always been a devoted mother, and all I have ever wanted to do was to co parent my children. Nonetheless, their wealthy abusive father asked for sole custody and was successful, by means of a custody report that I believe to be inaccurate and biased, conducted by Dr. Ken B. Perlmutter. This report was signed into a court order by Judge Raymond Swope, San Mateo. I was not permitted to present my evidence in court.
This is not a case of substance abuse, mental illness or parental deficiencies. After leaving an abusive marriage, my children and I were subjected to years of expensive litigation and harassment, as well as two custody evaluations by Ken Perlmutter Phd, Palo Alto. These custody evaluations placed me and the children under a microscope for years to the point where I had to account for every decision I made no matter how small and for each and every incident that occurred in our daily lives no matter how trivial. If I was five minutes late for a doctor's appointment, I had to explain why in detail..."

  1. Certainly looks like another case of corruption. Have to wonder if any money or other compensation went from Tyrrell to Perlmutter and/or the Judge in this case.

    1. Consider corruption versus systemic bias. Of course, it's possible that money (or some other kind of compensation) was given, however, often that's not needed.

There is a systemic bias where people with wealth favor each other both consciously and unconsciously. In Roisin's case, it appears that there were massive biases based on class, ethnicity, gender, and other factors.

I think this can be demonstrated by rulings that are in the public record, like the 2015 fees hearing for this case. I believe that Judge Swope made a fundamental error in that decision and that his ruling shows a pattern of bias which favors the more wealthy parent.

    2. What I think is at issue here in Roisin Cassidy's family court case is as follows: does the losing side have to pay the winner's attorney's fees? Does the losing side have to pay all the additional court costs and expert witness fees? I believe that across the board, the answer is no unless the litigation was deemed frivolous and harassing which is why the litigant ended up losing the case. Again, Attorney Jennifer Ani, I believe exposed Roisin Cassidy to being punished with undeserved fines and court fees based on Attorney Ani's statement in her motion to the court that Roisin had no probable cause for her case and that Roisin was merely pursuing the case for the purposes of harassment. Thus, it is my belief that Attorney Ani not only cost Roisin $50,000 in legal fees for her services but also is responsible for incurring the additional legal fees that Judge Swope ordered Roisin to pay at the end of trial which you refer to. Does anyone recall how much money that adds up to and can comment on that?

  2. Yes, I read the Court Order from the 2016 trial. Ms. Cassidy would have to pay well over $20,000 in fees and other charges. Of course, Judge Swope was fully aware that Ms. Cassidy did not have the ability pay.

Please note that Attorney Ani was late for court the morning of trial. The opposing counsel asked for sanctions against Ms. Cassidy for Ms. Ani's lateness, and Judge Swope agreed. While this is not a major part of the case, it is yet another small example of the quality of representation that came from Ms. Ani.

  3. Someone removed a large portion of The Tyrrell/Cassidy case file from the Hall of Records at the Superior court in San Mateo. The original evaluation was also removed.
Why was Judge Swope not given the first 730 evaluation?
Why was a second evaluation ordered?
Why did Ms. Cassidy's attorney not draw attention to the fact that the file was stolen?
I'm convinced that money changed hands in this case, this case has to be blown open and all fake ass officials made answer hard questions.

  4. It's common knowledge that Perlmutter is for sale to the highest bidder.
