WE SHALL OVERCOME

In the posting "Disappointment in Connecticut" (below) I touch upon some of the anger and frustration so many citizens of this state feel about how family court has cheated them, let them down, and put them and their children in harm's way.

I know that women, in particular, feel the unfairness and injustice of it all. My heart goes out to them tonight. It goes out to the hurt, the heartbroken, the injured and the oppressed, the forsaken, the lonely, the denied, the invalidated, those whose children have been ripped from their arms.

Remember, We Shall Overcome, each of us individually, and, as we band together to speak the truth to power, as a group. Take some time to listen to Joan Baez, to absorb the hope she holds out for us all, and hold on for one more day!
