ReplyDeleteA petition has started to ask the State of Connecticut’s Judiciary Committee to take immediate action to reform this state’s corrupt Guardian ad Litem system.
In face of already difficult economic times, our state’s “family court system” is routinely raiding and completely draining parent’s savings accounts, retirement accounts, and any other asset they may have – up to and including liquidating children’s college funds under threat of arrest.
Literally tens of millions of dollars are being funneled into the hands of Guardian ad Litems who do not perform the services the state and court assigns to them – or who perform them poorly, slowly and on purpose - in order to prolong cases to enrich themselves at the expense of already suffering families and children of divorce.
Too many judges promote this and simply perpetuate the problem – because they themselves used to be GALs. They completely ignore civil and parental rights in the process. All of this is directly contrary to the state’s mission in divorce cases – which is to prevent the parties and children from becoming wards of the state – not to force them into financial ruin.
Nothing changes unless people speak out!
