"A Connecticut gun owner told Guns and Patriots that his civil rights were stripped from him by an anti-gun judicial branch and a soon-to-be ex-wife who is uncomfortable with him owning guns.
“This high risk SWAT team rolls in and takes all my guns,” said Edward F. Taupier the respondent in a two-year divorce action that has escalated to an all-out war. “It took two armadillo armored vehicles, 75 officers with weapons drawn, and 45 minutes to raid my house.”

The thing is that the CT Judicial Branch believes that it is above the law and acts above the law. Then it utilizes its own police force, practically to impose its wishes on CT citizens. Then we have a media that has bought and sold itself to the CT Judicial Branch it is supposed to be scrutinizing and holding to account. It is a very saddening situation. That is why folks call our state Corrupticut.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that his criticisms of a Judge, founded or not, has prompted yet another Family Court Judge to spuriously and exaggeratingly claim she is real fear of her life and thus called in the State Police, arrest him, search and seize, and then, in order to hold him longer, a fellow Judge "spontaneously" and suddenly upped his bail amount at the last minute beyond what he's posted. (One wonders what 'insider' orders from the Judge powers above to whomever's in charge at the wherever he's held will include any number of atypical harsh treatments while he's being held pending another bail hearing....wouldn't doubt that one either). Shades of the clear retribution-type treatment inexcusably exacted on Mike Nowacki...all of which is, of course, meant to intimidate and coerce and power-trip over ordinary citizens and litigants. But now...SWAT TEAMS can legitimately be ordered up by Family Court Judges? Despicable...
ReplyDeleteThat said - and I say this as a female who wouldn't want this happening to me - it does appear that Ted Taupier has a bit of a problem in the sexual abuse department, having been caught secretly recording sex acts and posting them to a soft porn site, thus getting him - it sounds legitimately so - arrested for Voyeurism. Ick on that score too.
