CBS CT PASSING ON AP NEWS:
"MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) — The mother of a 7-month-old baby whose father is charged with throwing him to his death from a Connecticut bridge is planning to sue the state.
WFSB-TV reports that 19-year-old Adrianne Oyola’s attorney is asking the claims commissioner for the right to sue the state. Connecticut law requires permission to be granted.
She claims that the state Department of Children and Families was negligent and could have done more to save the life of her son, Aaden Moreno.
The baby’s father, Tony Moreno, has pleaded not guilty to murder charges for allegedly throwing the boy from Middletown’s Arrigoni Bridge in July 2015. The child’s body was found two days later by a canoeist."
