For those of you who were not aware, the family law day hearing this Monday, March 24, 2014, has been cancelled out of respect for the passing of Rep. Minnie Gonzalez son. We are all truly saddened by this tragic occurrence.

THE COALITION FOR CONNECTICUT FAMILY COURT REFORM (CCFCR) ANNOUNCES THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN CONNECTICUT FAMILY COURT!
The public testimony segment of the Task Force to Study Legal Disputes Involving the Care and Custody of Minor Children will be held on January 9, 2014 at 10:00 am. This is your opportunity to speak out about your experience with biased judges, deceitful attorneys, GALs, and AMCs, and with mental health professional fraud and abuse in your divorce case.
The public hearing will be held at the Legislative Office Building located at 300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT, in Room 2C. Remember, there is free parking available at the parking garage at the back of the building.
In preparation for this testimony, keep in mind you will only have three minutes maximum to make your statement. Testimony starts at 10:00a.m. and it is first come, first serve. You should bring at least ten copies of your statement including your name and contact information to the task force, plus two additional copies for the media.
Bring your family and friends, and make sure they come with their testimony as well. However, if they do not wish to speak, it is still a good idea to bring other friends and family who have supported you in your struggle and show the State Legislature that the majority of citizens in this state demand the reform of Connecticut Family Court.
Thank you very much for your all your help. We are working together as a team to create change in Connecticut Family Court, to protect vulnerable children, and to support parents who are currently being financially and emotionally abused by a corrupt judicial system.

NEW PAGES!
Today I posted two new forms from the CT Judicial Branch under the "Pages" label to the top right on my blog. These two forms are "Dissolution Agreement" and "Parental Responsibility Plan".
The reason why I do this is because these are the two most important documents you will ever produce for Family Court.
At the beginning of my high conflict divorce, if I had known that the questions and answers on these documents were all that my divorce was about, I would have handled my divorce ten times more cheaply and effectively. What led to many of my mistakes was the fact that I had no idea.
So, for those of you just starting out, before you spend $300,000 or more on your divorce, take a look at these forms.
Are they that difficult?
Just consider that if you can actually work together with your soon to be ex and answer those questions in a mutually amicable manner, you might actually just spend $150 or $250 on your divorce which would be quite a savings for both you and your children in terms to time, heartache, and money.
It's up to you, but I am just saying, here is an opportunity before you walk off and declare World War III.

TASK FORCE ALERT FROM CHERYL MARTONE OF U.S. CONCERNED PARENTS SUPPORT GROUP!
Dear Constituents of CT. and Legislators,
activists, parent and child advocates,
In regard to the Task Force to Study Legal Disputes Involving the Care & Custody of Minor Children which is meeting tomorrow at the LOB in room 1B at 10:00am, please note the following:
It has come to my attention that there are 2 members that are appointed on this Task Force who have been and are a detriment to our society, in particular, to Connecticut's vulnerable children. Not only are they appointed to the Task force but they are co-chairing it, which is very appalling.
They should not be on the Task Force since they both have violated our children and us as fit parents. They are the problem in the courts should not be here at this meeting to view the criminals at the helm.
I recommend to the Legislators who appointed them to remove them.
That would be Senator Donald Williams who appointed Attorney Susan Cousineau and
Representative Brendan Sharkey who appointed Sharon Dornfield the 2 Chairs of this task force.
Please call their offices and let them know we do not want them on this task force for the crimes they committed on our families in the courts. We do not want them to be making laws to help themselves in the courts. They will only make matters worse and we can not let them do that.
